How to request permanent deletion

Sign in to Ziv, open Account, and select Delete My Account. The authenticated account flow handles the active session and gives you the choice to take a temporary break or continue with permanent deletion. Before a permanent deletion request is accepted, you must explicitly confirm it by typing DELETE.

We may ask for identity or session verification to protect the account and prevent an unauthorised deletion. If you use an email and password account, the flow may ask for your password. If you use Google sign-in and do not have a Ziv password, continue through the confirmation step without inventing one.

What eligible account data is removed or anonymised

After a confirmed request, Ziv deletes or anonymises eligible account and profile information, login access and active sessions, assessments, transcripts, learning activity, practice-session data, scores, and related account-linked information, subject to the retention requirements below.

Records that may remain

Financial, payment, receipt, refund, reconciliation, fraud, security, audit, legal, compliance, and recordkeeping information may remain after deletion for the period required for those purposes. Support records may also remain when needed to track, investigate, or resolve a request. Required records are retained only for the applicable purpose and may be anonymised where appropriate.

Deletion and refunds are separate

Account deletion does not initiate or create a refund. If you need a refund, use the Dashboard → Help & Support → Raise a Ticket → Refund Request path before deleting the account, or contact Refund Policy support. A refund does not delete the account.
